In a remarkable display of athleticism and dedication, both the Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity track teams are going through their seasons with outstanding performances,
setting new personal records and getting better with every meet.
The Varsity track team is led by seasoned athletes like Kamari Camp and Corion Powers, they have tough competition this year in the district but with their speed, agility, and unwavering determination they can win it all.
From sprint events to long-distance races, the Varsity squad showcased their consistency by placing top 3.
Our team is pretty young with not many seniors but they go out and compete every time.
The team has proved to be a force to be reckoned with, as they exceed expectations. With a combination of raw talent and consistent hard work in practice, the JV athletes displayed remarkable growth and improvement, such as athletes like Kaeicyn Stevens setting new personal bests every meet and raising the bar for future generations.
Coach Ray is new to Langham Creek, but he has been instrumental in guiding both teams to success and trying to get them better with every practice. He expresses his pride in their achievements and loves to see his athletes success.
“It’s truly been a good season for both our JV and Varsity teams,” Coach Ray said. “Their dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport have propelled them to be better athletes,
and I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished.”
As the season draws to a close, with only a few meets left, both teams reflect on their achievements with a sense of pride and gratitude. With their eyes set on
future competitions and new goals, the JV and Varsity track teams are locked-in to continue their dream of excellence in the seasons to come.
