The Gay-Straight Alliance club held their first meeting on August 31^st. GSA is a club where people of the LGBT community and heterosexual allies come together and learn about struggles in their sexualities. They also learn about how to love one another equally and create an environment that’s safe for everyone to enjoy. GSA spreads their message many ways including The Trevor Project, A suicide/bullying program where they give resources to the people who have witnessed or have been a victim of those acts.

“GSA is a club where people from the LGBT and straight communities come together and we learn about LGBT problems and LGBT things,” junior Ayleen Herrera said.
