2021 Volleyball Season
Volleyball is mid-way through their 2021 season and they are going strong so far. The Varsity Volleyball team’s record is 18 wins and 10 losses.
“Our expectations for the rest of the year are to make the playoffs and try to win it all and come back as district champs,” junior Jacqueline Salazar said.
The Lobos have to be top 4 in the district to make the playoffs. There are 8 teams in CFISD and the only way for our season to continue into the playoffs is by being one of those top 4 teams.
“Our team is in a great position so far, we are winning the most important games which are district games. As long as we keep doing that we will be in good shape for the playoffs,” Coach Glen said.
The girls just won a district game against Cy Springs Wednesday, September 15. They won 3-0. That makes them one step closer to making the playoffs.
Also, they won another District game against Cy Woods on Friday, September 17. Adds on to the multiple wins they already have against district teams.
According to Max Preps The Lobos are 4th in district as of right now, so if the season was to end today we’d be heading to the playoffs.
