Orchestra Car Wash
The Orchestra held a car wash on Saturday to raise donations. This was the first fundraiser hosted by orchestra this year.
“I have a lot of incentive,” sophomore Phillip Boyett said. “And I love helping our nice community.”
The car wash was organized by mostly students within all grade levels.
“Every student had a different assignment during the car wash,” Orchestra teacher Mimi Wong said. “Comradery within the orchestra.”
The orchestra was able to raise around $600 through the generous donations of the community.
“I hope the orchestra will get better socials, such as fun events and better equipment,” sophomore Hena Singh said.
The event was successful and the money earned benefited the orchestra.
“What we made helped a lot,” Phillip said. “It was very fun and a great experience for me.”
