It’s that time of year again, debate is going to their competition at Austin and they are pretty excited about it.

“I’m excited to go because I’ve always wanted to go to UT Austin, so it will be cool to see the campus,” Debate president Kelsey Do said.

Now debate will be doing a lot at UT Austin as there are many events to compete in.

“The events include  policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, informative speaking, Dramatic interpretation and Duo Interpretation,” Debate Teacher Eric Beane said.

When it comes to the debate team they have won many trophies and awards in their history, the last time they went they won a trophy and now they’re looking to win another.

“You know, I think we can do a lot of great things here, and I think we can do good for the school and bring back a trophy, maybe,” Debate Captain Minh Le said.

The tournament will be taking place Friday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 5th.
