Bailadora Formal
Formal is a special night for Bailadoras as they gather together and recall their favorite moments from the year. This year’s Bailadora formal is taking place January 13th.
“We really are a family and formal is like our own mini version of prom,” junior Jaylee Allen said. “I feel like I can say this about all of us, formal is probably one of the most important nights of our year.”
For many on the team, this is the last year that they’ll have the opportunity to celebrate a special moment.
“As a senior, I know formal is going to be bittersweet because it’ll be the last one I spend with the girls but I know it’ll be amazing,” senior Quinley Drymond said.
The Bailadoras are still not taking a break from practicing even on formal day.
“I have been so busy this entire week trying to get myself ready for the formal that it hasn’t actually settled in that this is my last one with my senior friends,” Allen said. “I don’t even wanna think about the emotional mess I’m going to be that night.”
Although it will be a sentimental night for all the girls, they won’t let that get in the way of having fun.
“I love this team, they are practically my family and I can’t wait to dance with them all night!” junior Zoe Alvarado said.
