The Track season is about to hit its final point as they are about to go to districts, from April 12th to the 13th.

“I am very excited to get districts underway very soon,” senior CJ Davis said. “I went to the area finals last year and came this very to state, so my goal is to go to state and win it this time.

As for team goals last year the Boy’s track team finished 2nd in the district, and the year before they were district champs, so now they are looking to win district again.

“We’ve won a couple meets this year and we’re hoping that we can use all that skill and win district this year,” senior Jaquaize Pettaway said. “We’ve got the players and the coaching so I think we’re ready to win.

As for the girls team, they are also going to be going to districts on April 12th and 13th, and they are excited at the chance to compete.

“We’ve definitely had an up and down season so far, but we are all stocked and can’t wait to compete at district next week,” senior Samantha Banegas said.

Both boys and girls will have over 20 runners each going to district and hoping for a chance at competing at regionals.
