New Bailadora Officers for 2023-24
The Bailadoras recently held officer tryouts to select the new leadership for the upcoming year. After a rigorous selection process, the results are in, and the team is thrilled to announce their new officers.
Erial Lloyd, a talented and dedicated dancer, has been named the new Captain of the Bailadoras. She expressed her excitement at being chosen for the role and spoke of her plans to take the team to new heights in the coming year.
“I could not believe my eyes when I saw that I got Captain,” Erial said. “I literally jumped up and down, it was a memorable experience. This new year will have so many big things coming.”
Rachel Holcombe, the former Captain of the team, expressed her confidence in Erial’s abilities and the new officers.
“Being Captain this year was one of the best things I ever got to experience,” Rachel said. “It is bittersweet having to give up my position, but Erial will make a great leader. I have lots of hope for the new officers and the new year for the girls.”
The team also announced the selection of several other officers, including a new Lieutenant and two new Sergeants. Although there were some changes in the officer positions, the team is confident that they have the right people in place to lead them to success.
Quinley Drymond, the former Senior Lieutenant, expressed her confidence in the new officers and her excitement for the upcoming year.
“It is sad that there is no more Senior Lieutenant, but I know that the upcoming juniors will do a fantastic job,” Quinley said. “I know this team can be pushed beyond more than what we have achieved, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish.”
The Bailadoras have a long history of excellence, and with their new officers in place, they are poised for another successful year. The team is excited to get started and looks forward to showing off their skills and hard work in the coming months.
