Staying Close to Home, a Senior Story

There are many hard stressful nights and days building up to graduation. There are many students like Jordan Simshindo. He is currently a senior and planning to enroll in the University Of Houston to be closer and in the heart of Houston.

“The University Of Houston was my best option because I get to be more connected with the city and explore my lifestyle academically & socially being downtown with many people nearby,” Jordan
said.

In addition, Jordan chose UofH to expand his social life and academic opportunities in his hometown to further improve himself.

“Attending University Of Houston isn’t just about being an student, it’s more of how you are as an person and your interest with building and maintaining relationships with your professors and
other students,” Jordan said. “I couldn’t see myself leaving so far away from home.”

Jordan has ways of maintaining his sources of income while studying at the University Of Houston. He plans to continue working at his job to help maintain his well being as a student and personal lifestyle.

“I’ve always worked no matter the circumstances, it feels great having your own money,” Jordan said.

Jordan plans to major in automotive to work on cars and explore his interests in vehicles.

“I’ve always loved cars since I was little.,” Jordan said. “I always wanted to work as a mechanic. I feel I’ll love to dig deeper into the studies of cars.”

Jordan plans on visiting his family often as they aren’t far away from the school grounds.
