Lobo of the month for December

Every month senior students shine and stand out above the others.

Greater accomplishments.

Greater aspirations.

Better futures.

During the month of December three students shined brighter than the rest.

Those students were Chloe Sheasby, Sabita Taylor, and Lauren Wells.

The morning announcements declared December’s Lobo’s of the Month.

Each senior displayed characteristics of leadership and excellent work ethic.

“Chloe [Sheasby] is helpful, kind, intelligent, and has an excellent work ethic,” the morning announcements said. “She is a natural leader and helps out wherever she can.”

Sheasby’s actions of leadership and demonstrating the Lobo Creed allowed her to become one of December’s Lobo of the month.

“I forgot the staff did it. You hear about it on the announcements,” senior Sabita Taylor said.

“I was happy. Excited. Like appreciative. I guess that it was a nice surprise.”

Taylor exemplified all the true qualities of the Lobo Creed through her positive attitude and hard work ethic.

“I was really shocked,” senior Lauren Wells said. “My teachers were really sweet to think of me for that.”

Wells strives to use this as an opportunity to help others.

“I’m trying to lead others. You know, to leading like lives that are helpful to others to,” Wells said.

“And lead others in community service in particular.”
