Valentine’s Day Do’s and Don’ts

Love fills the air on Valentine’s day and rather facing heartbreak on this day, here’s a few Valentine’s day do’s and don’ts.

Don’t: Get the same old chocolates, teddy bears, and flowers. If someone is really special to you, avoid getting the cliches this year.

Do: Try thinking outside that heart shaped box, and get something that is actually personal to them, something that will be memorable to them to show exactly how much they mean to  you.

Don’t: If you’re bringing your loved one their gift on school campus, please don’t bring anything large and excessive. People are just trying to go about their day in peace without giant balloons or stuffed animals getting in their way, especially those who are spending Valentine’s alone this year.

Do: If you do receive a gift, be grateful for whatever you get. People go out of their way to make you feel special and instead of completely bashing their gift, enjoy it.

Don’t: Take grateful the wrong way and brag about your gift in everyone’s face. Try keeping it to yourself no matter how much you love your gift, even though it can be hard to contain your excitement.

Do: Just simply be nice to everyone. You should always be kind but on a day of love, spread your kindness all around even more so.
