Growing up the middle child, I had to find people to “play” with other than my siblings. For me, that was characters from books such as Harry Potter. Along with my love for reading came a love for writing. Being able to write for an my own school’s publication is something I could only dream of. I never imagined I would be writing news stories, it’s exciting nonetheless. Especially since I hope to someday become a proofreader. On the days I’m not writing, I work alongside my mom’s social group to help the community through giving clothes to the homeless and throw Easter egg hunts for those without.
