Drab or Fab; What dress will you wear for prom?

From bold-to-bland, short-to-long, or long sleeved-to-short sleeved, there is a plethora of beautiful dresses to choose to wear for prom.

“When choosing a prom dress, the most important thing to remember is to be yourself. Don’t choose a popular dress everyone else is, and don’t feel pressured to wear what other people are telling you to,” senior Kaylah Montgomery said.

A proper prom dress should make a girl feel confident, unique and comfortable.

“When I look for a prom dress, I look for one that allows me to express myself, and feel comfortable with who I am and what I look like,”  senior Margarita Torres said.

The typical amount of money spent on a prom dress ranges from $200-$400. There are many stores and dress shops that sell prom dresses such as Macy’s, JCPenny, Kohl’s and Dillards.

“In my opinion, the best place to buy a prom dress is at Formal Gallery, or a certified wedding boutique,” senior Arianna Gamarra said.

Prom is very early compared to previous years. It is a pleasurable event, and a day where you can express yourself.

“Choosing a dress is a very important decision. When doing so, you want to keep an open mind and not shut out other different ideas,” Torres said.

The theme for prom is to be announced as it approaches. Prom is scheduled for May 4th, and will be held at the Berry Center.
