2023-2024 National Honor Society Officers

The National Honor Society welcomed its new members for the 2023-2024 school year. This organization recognizes and honors students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, character, and service.

The next president of the National Honor Society expressed her excitement about the upcoming year and her commitment to keeping the organization’s comfort level the same as it was last year.

“The main priority I want to accomplish is making it fun and exciting to go out and help out our community,” junior Kayla Delany said.

Being an officer for any club brings a lot of responsibilities and NHS is one of the biggest clubs here at Langham.

“I educated myself on the past NHS officers and what the position was, to see if I’ll be the best fit for it,” junior Tristan Chambers said.

With the new officers for the National Honor Society in place, many members are optimistic about the upcoming year.

“I feel really good. I think they’ll work very well together,” junior Kassidy Johnson said.

The past president isn’t just leaving them, she’s helping them prepare for next year and what they should know.

“It’s okay to ask for help from officers and don’t take on too much responsibility by yourself,” senior Nafia Uddin said.

With the new officers’ vision and dedication, the organization looks set to have another successful year ahead.
