Lacrosse
The lacrosse team has had an exceptional season this year, working hard and practicing daily. Our players are putting their all into these games and it is clearly showing. Not many students know much about lacrosse, but we have the inside scoop on what it’s like for the players.
Junior Austin Thompson has been playing lacrosse for many years.
“This has been the best season in team history,” Thompson said. “We are 7-4 and expect to win all of our remaining games.”
Despite what one may think, playing lacrosse is not easy.
“I love how unique and challenging it is for even the best natural athletes,” Thompson said. “Anyone that wants a challenge and is dedicated to improving should try it out.”
Lacrosse is a fun and interesting sport, so if you’re looking for something new to watch or play, I’d recommend checking this one out.
The lacrosse team even has their own pep band consisting of band members who play popular songs at their games to get the crowd full of school spirit.
